The COVID-19 pandemic has changed everything, including how NJ's regulatory agencies are operating and what the Legislature is prioritizing...and all of this affects real estate development in NJ.

From the latest on reopening efforts to compliance with new green infrastructure stormwater rules, NAIOP NJ’s annual Regulatory, Legislative & Legal Update will bring government officials and industry experts to your screen on June 10 (9-11AM Eastern Time). Jose Lozano (Co-Chair of the NJ Restart & Recovery Advisory Council, and President of Choose New Jersey) will keynote, sharing insights on the COVID-19 response and higher-level issues that will affect policy decisions going forward. The program will also feature discussions on: COVID-19 Key Agency Changes in Processes & Procedures; Land Use Issues (the PACT Initiative, SRRA/RAP Stakeholder processes, New Site Remediation Standards, Alternative Fill, PFAS and more); and Legal Updates & Water Issues (Public Shoreline Access, Navigable Waters Protection Rule, the New “Green Infrastructure” Stormwater Rules, and the recent C1 Waters Adoption Effect on Development). Speakers will include:

  • Robert Austin, DCA Division of Codes & Standards
  • Shawn LaTourette, NJ DEP
  • Tony DiLodovico, Bowman Consulting
  • Marilyn Lennon, PS&S
  • Bob March, Langan Engineering & Environmental Services
  • Mark Pedersen, NJ DEP
  • Don Richardson, EWMA
  • Dennis Toft, Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi
  • Neil Yoskin, Cullen & Dykman
