- Education Credits for multiple professions: brokers can earn up to FOUR Continuing Education Credits (check status)
Love it or hate it, Social Media in all its forms is a must for any business, including commercial real estate. From “free” advertising and customer relationship building to news aggregation and reputation management, YouTube (the second largest search engine after Google), Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter can be powerful tools. Our experts will tell you what you need to know about the good (enhanced brand, stronger web presence, more traffic on your website), the bad (risks, ethics, liability) and the ugly (accepting that privacy is a relic of the past, managing negative attention). You will also hear how commercial real estate firms are using Social Media to market properties, support their tenants and communities, and promote the industry.
All real estate professionals will benefit from this “crash course” (which was particularly designed to help NJ Licensed Brokers & Real Estate Salespersons meet continuing education credit requirements before the April 30 deadline of the current cycle). For just $95, NAIOP NJ members can earn up to 4 continuing education credits: 2 Ethics and 2 Core for brokers.
The first two hours (8:30 to 10:30 AM, 2 core credits) will feature “Social Media & Technology” with course instructor Randi Kochman (Cole Schotz) and Ilene Jablonski of Mack-Cali Realty Corporation, Maria Semple of The Prospect Finder, and Jonathan Scharff of M Public Affairs. The second two hours (10:30 to 12:30 PM) will feature two ethics courses: “Real World Ethics for Commercial Real Estate Brokers” for 1 Ethics credit; and “Comprehensive Ethics for Commercial Real Estate Brokers” for 1 Ethics credit. Both ethics courses will be taught by Jay Rhatican of Wolff & Samson, who will be joined by Barry Goodman of Greenbaum Rowe Smith & Davis LLP and Jonathan Meisel of JLL. Space is limited. Rates are also available for Members’ colleagues and non-members. Registration, networking & breakfast at 7:45 AM, program starts 8:30 AM at the Renaissance Woodbridge (directions).
